Last Friday’s (7 March 2025) networking event held at Auckland Business Chamber was a success! SBANZ would like to thank H.E. Mr. William Tan (Singapore High Commissioner New Zealand and Advisor to SBANZ) and Simon Bridges (CEO of Auckland Business Chamber) for gracing the occasion.

The audience had a more in sightful view of the sustainable energy development in New Zealand for solar farms and vanadium flow battery system after they are presented by both speakers Andrew Beckett (SEANZ / Kiwi Solar) and Jonas Ng (Zion Technologies/ Zion Motorhome).

I sincerely believe that when both systems (solar photoelectric panels and vanadium flow battery) are widely implemented in New Zealand, it will definitely improve the electrical power system in the long run by leveling the fluctuating consumption on the current grid system which are depending majority on the hydro system which contribute more than 60% of the renewable energy sources.
